What he hadn't figured on was, someone with an old score to settle arrived in town....Frank Gruber has created an exceptional book with Fighting Man, as it is also the telling of the American west, of the challenges, and rewards available to anyone brave enough to challenge them. His work is fast paced, using short crisp sentences, few adjectives, and using multiple points of view making the book almost like watching a movie. That probably came from the fact Mr. Gruber wrote many screenplays for both the movies and television during his life time. This is a highly entertaining book.

Cheaper books sent (within the UK) may be wrapped in polythene to speed and facilitate delivery.
