The Chicago Trust Company started giving prizes for business monographs in 1923. This book was the 5th so awarded. There were five people in the awards committee, one of whom headed what is now the prestigious Brookings Institution. Quite nice book. Its extrems are scuffed but not worn. Spine lettering faded some. One faded black streak on front cover fore edge. Clean top edge. Book tends to stay closed when stood on its spine. .
