London: Heinemann. Bound in clean red cloth with clear gilt titles to spine, this 1948 First Edition is VG in VG wrapper (unclipped). (V1)/324pp with 15 Chapters. Bookplate to fixed front endpaper (P.R. Hiscock), small inscription to foot of fixed front endpaper: as follows, "Telford: 2 May 1992". Spine slightly faded. Minor chip to top/tail of wrapper spine and to return flap corners. Small area of wrapper front panel missing: size of chip is 2cm x 1cm. General condition VG . Very Good. Hardback. First Edition. 1948.
