Some shelf wear, some sunning to spine, corners lightly bumped and rubbed, birthday message post card taped to inside front cover with shadows and another card to endpaper, newspaper cutting laid in, some foxing to endpapers and edges of reading block. ; First edition, first printing with no other printings listed. Decorated paper over blue cloth boards with paste down to front. Nice tight copy, no names inside. ; 92 pages; A collection of talks given on the radio by the vicar of St Michaels church, Chester Square, in London's Belgravia district, Chaplain to the King. The Reverend Canon W H Elliott was a Church of England clergyman and Precentor of the Chapels Royal. He was also a broadcaster on religious matters for the BBC, known as "the Radio Chaplain". He appeared as one of the first "castaways" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 26 March 1942. .
