Information On Salt Lake Or Sherman Field, "Midway Between The Business District Of Los Angeles And Santa Monica", Covers About Two Square Miles With 434 Wells, Of Which In June 1916 There Were 280 Producing, 143 Abandoned, And One Drilling, With Total Production About 118,000 Barrels Per Month. A Detached Group Known As The Beverly Hills Field, Covering About One Half Section Of Land, Was Not Investigated.
