Toronto: University Women's Club of Toronto, 2010. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 9"' x 11. pp: 224. FIRST EDITION. Pictorial, laminated boards issued without a dust jacket. This copy has been inscribed and signed twice by the author on the half-title page. The author presents a history of the many women who served in the RCAF during The Second World War. They performed a wide variety of tasks, not least of which was learning the operation of an F-24 Aerial Camera and its installation in an Anson Training Aircraft. The text is enhanced with many vintage photographs, and maps. It should be noted that many of the women in the photos are identified by name. There are biographical sketches of a number of veterans, including the author. The appendices include interviews with veterans. A fine copy.
