Original green cloth, nice square binding, couple of small marks, very slight bumping at extremities, pages and endpapers extremely clean and tidy, 25 photographs all but two taken by the author. An exceptionally nice first impression of Byron's travels through Russia and Tibet at a time when both countries were on the cusp of dramatic change.
