Edition limnited to 5000 copies, near fine, oversized blue cloth hardcover shows mild bowing to cvers, name at top of front endpaper and some other very mild trace wear, in very good dust jacket that shows edgewear that includes a small open chip at top edge of front panel next to spine head and toning along spine (still reads well) and areas of panels. 130 pages with half a dozen full page color illustrations by Louis Choris and four contemporary maps. Remainbs an attractive copy in jacket of this "..original narrative, hitherto unpublished, by Fr Vincent Maria and further details by participants in the first explorations of the Bay's waters..
