London: Her Majesty's Stationary Office. (H. M. S. O). Very Good with no dust jacket. 1957. Presumed First UK Edition. Paperback. Grey, light card, covers with black titling/lettering. A stamped name on the top front corner of the cover, and 1957 written in ink under the Publisher on the front cover. Staples rusting. Creased corners/edges throughout o/w generally VG. Internally No Inscriptions or Marks. (iii) + (1) + 8pp + 1 full page plate in b/w. Tables and Maps. A study of this delicacy, then little known outside Wales. Its 'manufacture', and supply stream, etc, together with a 'Census of Laverbread Eaters', (! ) etc. An interesting 'period' study - now 60 years old! Some of the info is likely still relevant today - some of the findings - definitely NOT! See Images. ; Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
