Including two plates in colour, twenty-five black-and-white plates, and seven in-text illustrations. Collated and complete. Written by T.T. Phelps. Including a previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper: 'J.A. Bower'. In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally, some light shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A few ink marks to the boards. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
