Sobre este artículo
New York: Random House, 1963. 86pp. Black cloth spine, blue boards. Gilt titles on spine, facsimile gilt signature on front board. Binding tight, spine straight, corners square. Pages bright and clean, unmarked. Blue dust jacket is crisp and intact, with original $3.00 price on front flap. Some offsetting to front jacket flap, likely from a sheet laid in at some past date. Mild toning to white back panel. Signed by Hoover in black ink on half-title page and inscribed, "To Dr. Michael Lepore, the good wishes of Herbert Hoover." His love of the outdoors and lifelong fishing practice led Hoover to write this slim volume on the deterioration of environmental conditions, the unwieldy rise in population, and the need to rehabilitate our rivers by ridding them of pollution. . First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo.
