Some moderate handling and shelf-wear. Some foxing to endpapers and front and rear leaves. Old owner's name, place and date to first volume endpaper. One map with closed tear near stub. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound and handsome set. Illustrated, fold-out maps, colour frontispiece in each volume. The last book contains two volumes in one..
