Poetry of Rudyard Kipling in two separate sections – the first series of poems covering many subjects, and the second called Service Songs – mostly relates to real or imagined experiences of late 19th British soldiers. Softening of the backstrip edges with rubbing of the same areas, either side of the backstrip, top book corners and lower book edges. Tanning of the textblock edges and lighter tanning of the pages. Heavy tanning to the first few and last few pages of the book with scattered foxing throughout and to the textblock edges. Some white marks to the lower edge of the front panel.
