Spine is faded and both spine and boards show wear to the edges (boards also have a few light stains). Yellowish discolouration to endpapers. Top edge of text block red with long outer edge untrimmed. Clean, tight text block through out. A good copy. very good Robert Wilder (1901 Ñ 1974) was an American novelist, playwright and screenwriter. In 1949 the book was made into a film starring Joan Crawford. In 1980 it was remade into a TV movie and then aired an American prime time soap opera on NBC. The show ran for two seasons. 1942
