This beautiful book compiles some of the early Flash Gordon tales into one volume. Alex Raymond biography included along with some printed Flash Gordon ephemera. Binding has some minor bumps to corners and a little fraying at spine ends. Dust Jacket has soiling and scuffing and some chipping and very small tears to edges. 1" tear near spine foot.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No Expedited shipping outside of the United States.
Sinopsis
Alex Raymond is one of the most famous artists in the history of comic strips. He created Flash Gordon, Secret Agent X-9, Rip Kirby, and Jungle Jim. George Lucas has indicated that Flash Gordon was the inspiration for the Star Wars movies, and Raymond's work has inspired decades of writers, artist, and filmmakers.
