This is a one-inch thick book bound by three large staples that are very tight and holding well. The endpaper/copyright page is torn out by an enthusiastic admirer of flora as shown by the attempt to draw a flower with a crayon. Thankfully the loose page remains and we know that this book is copyrighted and published by Sandia Press in 1971. No other defects noted and the remaining pages are tight and white with no marks. The Sandias have been referred to as the playgound of Albuquerque. Situated only minutes from a large metropolitan area, they offer a marked contrast to the bustle of city life. Approximately one and one-half million people, from all points of the world, visit the Sandias annually.
