Data recorded for each specimen were augmented by additional information, and specimens were deposited in the herbarium of the University of New Mexico where they were examined and researched. Families are treated according to a modified Engler & Prantl system; genera within the family, and species within the genus, are treated alphabetically. Includes a brief summary of regional geology, topography and climatic conditions. Includes a summary listing of all the flora, index, references, and a map of the White Mountain area. 583 pgs.
