This appears to be one of the more uncommon bindings. Copies bound in two-toned cloth bindings (the more common binding) were probably intended for the English trade, states Merle Johnson in "American First Editions.. 8vo., pictorial green cloth, stamped in two shades of brown & gilt; top edge gilt; 200 pages.
