Original format with the light brown cover, colour plate and four chequered squares at corners Small octavo hardback 24 Colour plates plus black and white frontispiece and blue illustrated end papers. Very Good condition in Good + price-clipped dust jacket (archive tape repairs at corners) so jacket looks pretty good.Jacket has the yellow decorated surround, surrounding the colour illustration on the front. . These books are difficult to date it could be just pre-war or post war.On the half title is the batch mark E5 so I'm guessing post war.
