Good single volume British Flora of Flowering plants, which went through many editions. This new edition published by Routledge was revised by Elliott. Charles Alexander Johns [ 1811 - 1874 ] British botanist, this work origially published in 1850 ( and without the religious overtones of his earlier books ), went through 50 editions.
