This tenth issue of the Fluxus newspaper came about at the suggestion of George Brecht. He, Geoffrey Hendricks, and several other Fluxus artists were organising a Festschrift to honour George Maciunas, which included original contributions for a collective box, ‘Laudatio Scripta Pro George.’ Robert Watts and Sara Seagull were given these contributions to reproduce, from which they edited and designed a newspaper published in time for the Festschrift in New York, May 2, 1976. Geoffrey Hendricks served as producer of both the box and the newspaper.
