London, Dennis Dobson, 1967.. SECOND EDITION 1967 (first published in 1963), oblong 4to, 215 x 270 mm, 8½ x 10¾ inches, yellow boards, (32) pages. Enchanting coloured illustrations throughout, simple text. Lovely story about short necked giraffe and bird who can't fly who become friends. Tiniest bump to lower corner of upper cover, no inscriptions. Near Fine in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price clipped, several very short closed edge tears with creasing at top and bottom edges, bright and clean). The first edition of 1963 is rather elusive.
