New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1953. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Fair. Stated first edition. Black cloth in price clipped jacket. 276 pp including index. A detailed examination of UFO's and flying saucer sightings in the 1940's and early 50's United States, with the author concluding, based on his analysis of the evidence available, that they were of extraterrestrial origin. Keyhoe draws on US Air Force records, as well as other sources. Donald Keyhoe was a major in the USMC, and wrote widely on this subject. FAIR jacket on a GOOD book. Heavy chipping, tearing, and creasing along the jacket extremities, with some areas of loss along the corners and spine tips. General toning, with some creasing and soiling, to the jacket. Superficial surface loss of the jacket paper along the center rear hinge. General uneven fading to the book, with some scuffing, minor soiling and edgewear. Interior clean and solid with minor toning to the paper. Previous owner's signature present.
