The last two chapters (which appeared separately, in a condensed form, in Reader's Digest), provide an eye-witness account of the last race for land, the rush on the Cherokee Strip in 1893. The jacket flap identifies this as a ''popular-priced reissue'', otherwise there is no distinction between this and the original issue. Rear flap has various critical reviews. Six-Guns, Number 1070.
