Paris: Libraire Plon, 1900. Decorative Cloth. Good. 4to - over 9" - 12" tall. Maurice Boutet de Monvel. Not dated, c.1900 Size oblong quarto, 48 pages. Brown cloth covered boards decorated all over with little daisies and larger flower design on front cover, black titles. Condition good, covers darkened at the edges and also the spine, corners and edges rubbed, hinges weak, title page toned brown, a few spots to end-papers, else contents pretty clean throughout. La Fontaine's most popular Fables told for children with many illustrations throughout, many small illustrations to each page, coloured in two-tone. Text is in French.
