Good. 8vo, pp. xx, 393, two pages advert, 32 page Catalogue of Messrs Blackwood and Sons' Publications at rear, original gilt lettered burgundy cloth with wear, corners bumped, frontispiece with some marks, tissue guards to it and illustrations within, all present but that of Field-Marshall Earl Ligonier has been re-stuck opposite page 152 as opposed to 183 as called for, the map has splits along the folds and is foxed, incidental foxing throughout, top and fore edges uncut, binding sound but loosening. With introduction by Field Marshall Earl Roberts.
