Publisher's lilac boards with gilt initials to the front board and green lettering to the spine over gilt labels. A partially faded spine otherwise a fine copy. Inscribed by the Author on the half-title to Amy Johnston (of Macmillan): "Amy Johnston ----/ from her colleague/ Michael Sadleir/ 1.3.45". Photographs/scans available upon request.
