Sharp Second Paperback Printing, no date given except original 1944 copyright but actually Early 1950's, (Canja, p.177). $.25 Cover Price. Square, tight and clean throughout. Quite shallow dog-ear to top front corner and light spine reading creases. Hinges rubbed. Moderate Page toning. Still fresh and bright with no chipping or tears. A Bertha Cool and Donald Lam Mystery. The First Paperback Printing was noted for the risque front cover which was reworked to make it less provocative when this second printing was published. The second printing is every bit as uncommon as the first; perhaps more so, A very pretty collectable copy.
