Includes a long quotation from the English poet John Drinkwater praising "the work of Mr. Ziegfolly." Performers include Eddie Cantor (1892-1964); Bert Williams (1874-1922), the first Black American with a lead role on Broadway; Marillyn Miller [sic Marilyn Miller] (1898-1936); Eddie Dowling (1889-1976); and Delilah Leitzell as Delyle Alda (1894-1927). Songs by George Gershwin include: Harem Life, A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody, Prohibition, You Cannot Make Your Shimmy Shake on Tea, A Syncopated Cocktail, and We Made the Doughnuts Over There.
