Rafael Sabatini (1875 - 1950) was the author of more than 30 novels. He also wrote several non fiction books, plays and short stories. Bumped back corners, worn front covers, slightly cocked spine. Pages are lightly tanned. Owner's name, original book seller's sticker and stray pencil mark on fep. Small foxed spot on bottom of title page, opposite blank page and in the interior margins of pages 220/221. Dusty top, crease on top of half title page, first page and page 35/36. Crack to binding at pages 26/27, 42/43, 218/219 and 250/251. Light spot on pages 36-37 and in the margins of page 90, 91 and 199 and fingermarks in the margins of pages 9, 27, 71, 133, 233 and 251.
