First Edition, Fourth Printing (November, 1909). First printing was in September, 1909. Second was also in September. Third was in October, and this fourth printing was in November. Frontispiece and tissue guard are present, both in perfect condition. Octavo, green cloth with white, gilt and black imprinting on cover and spine (see scans), 224 pp. + 4 pp. ads. Extraordinarily handsome, clean, bright and tight copy; Very Good, but close to Near Fine. Some wear at spine, just tiny touches elsewhere; name of an early owner quaintly inked in cursive on the ffep. Please see scans. Short stories from the legendary Francis Hopkinson Smith. L-28
