Interior of both books is very good and all illustrations, drawings, plans, maps and folding maps are present. The spine of Vol. 1 is split down the entire length, and the bindings of both are cracked and loosened. Rebinding would yield a handsome set. 8vo. Vol. 1: 511 pp. Vol. 2: 522 pages including index and many pages of ads for other books from the publisher. Heavy--six pounds packed. Will require additional postage if shipped priority or outside the U.S.
