Economy standard edition with porr paper quality. ; Third printing of re-set edition, May 1947. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to front cover and spine. Nice tight copy, no names or marks inside. ; B&W Illustrations and Photographs; 76 pages; The author was a Russian Imperial calvary officer in the First Hussars, who found that the standard 'Dressage' seat practiced by the Military before the First World War did not give good control of the horse under battle conditions.
