Sobre este artículo
First Edition/Later Printing; A Good book in a Very Good dust jacket. This is the movie tie-in printing of the classic novel, with the sticker affixed to the front panel advertising the 1949 movie; in an original state jacket with Rand's portrait on the rear panel with 3 reviews. This copy is in only Good condition with a binding that has softened hinges, moderate rubbing to the edges, a PO signature to the front free paper, and some age-spotting and light soiling to the pages and text block. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows rubbing and chipping to the spine ends and edges, mild fading to the spine, and some faint soiling to the back panel. A useful copy, with the added bonus of the movie sticker. Not remaindered, not price clipped ($3.00 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
Sinopsis
When The Fountainhead was first published, Ayn Rand 's daringly original literary vision and her groundbreaking philosophy, Objectivism, won immediate worldwide interest and acclaim. This instant classic is the story of an intransigent young architect, his violent battle against conventional standards, and his explosive love affair with a beautiful woman who struggles to defeat him. This edition contains a special Afterword by Rand's literary executor, Leonard Peikoff which includes excerpts from Ayn Rand's own notes on the making of The Fountainhead . As fresh today as it was then, here is a novel about a hero—and about those who try to destroy him.
