Sobre este artículo
New York: Dodd, Mead & Co, 1955. First printing of classic book written by the man that first broke the four minute barrier on May 6, 1954. Clean, fresh copy that is tight and square. No markings but for vintage bookplate on front pastedown of runner. It is hidden under front flap. Price clipped jacket is sunned on the red portion of the spine which does not detract as it is background color to title author and publisher which is black and bright. Front panel illustration of Bannister in that race nearing the finish line is quite dramatic. Very tiny chip at head of spine but no other tears, chips, creasing or soiling. Scarce. In mylar. . First American Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine to Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
