The first two works relating to the murder of Hemming are rare; only 2 copies of the 1st work and only 1 copy of the 2nd work cited by Copac. 8vo (7 1/2 x 5 inches), 19th Century half tan calf, marbled boards, spine diced in blind with black lettering piece; extremities rubbed else good. Inner gutter cracked within first work with two leaves working loose, firm however. Relevant newscuttings on free endpaper. Armorial bookplate on pastedown. Endpapers foxed.
