Published during the postwar conflit between the Greek Government (which was backed by the United States) and the Greek Communist Party. From the English introduction: "The Fourth of July was celebrated this year by the members of the newly established Greek-American Parliamentary Group and other Greeks in a manner expressing their deep gratitude to the People of the United States for all they have done for Greece ever since the Greek Revolution of 1821 to the present time.
