Unmarked except for faint edge stain (confined to the margin) on about half the pages. Dust jacket has rubbed edges, light soil and a few 1/4" tears along top edge. 153 pages, including references. 8x10x1/2" (20.5x 25.5x1cm). Reproduces 7 of Hans Haacke's works that deal with the interaction of art, the producers of works of art, their public and their economic and ideological support structure. Works included are MOMA-Poll, John Weber Gallery Visitor's Profile 1 and 2, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Board of trustees, Manet-PROJEKT '74, Seurat's "Los Poseuses" (small version), 1888-1975, & On Social Grease. Includes a bibliography of related works. Also two essays analyzing the work. "Steps in the Formulation of Real-TIme Political Art" by Jack Burnham and "Social Science the work of Hans Haacke" by Howard S. Becker & John Walton
