Saints Peres, 2018 STUNNING facsimile of the original hand written manuscript of Mary Shelley which is held in the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford. Profoundly moving to see the manuscript in the author's eighteen year old handwriting; all the smudges, every revision. It is a truly sumptuous oversize production, reproduced on Fedrigoni Avorio paper. This is almost overwhelmingly affecting. It is a large heavy book, gorgeously produced, and it is in a superb slipcase. It is heavy and substantial in every sense and I commend it to anyone seriously interested in this extraordinary and prescient work. This measures 34cm x 25 and weighs 2.3kg.
