Updike, The Merrymount Press, Boston. 12mo, blue decorated paper-covered boards, paper spine label, top edge gilt, 248p, introduction by Emory Holloway. Condition is VERY GOOD / no jacket: some sunning to the boards at edges and spine, spine head and tail are chipped, some pages are unopened. A nice copy of this "temperance" novel by Whitman, originally published in 1842.
