Franklin Center, PA: Franklin Library. Octavo, 51 volumes. Each volume bound in full decorative leather, with decorative endpapers, all edges either in gilt or silver, and silk ribbons. Volumes generally very good to near fine. Many volumes have the spines somewhat cocked, and nearly all have some old dust-soiling to the top edge, There is thus some attendant foxing to the top edges, but the books are uniformly lovely internally, with no markings or bookplates. A few volumes have the page blocks pulling just slightly from the spines. A vibrant set, with immense shelf presence, and an absolute must-have for any lover of detective fiction, crime fiction, and mysteries. Depending on the circumstances, postage may be extra.
