Exterior shows some soiling along with edge and corner bumps, spine is sunned. Interior binding is good except for small opening at front hinge which measures just over an inch. Please note: this is an ex-library copy though the only markings to indicate this is on the back of the first and page which is stamped "Withdrawn - Gettysburg College Library". Nor the larvae markings found. Pages are toned due to age and some spotting and foxing is present throughout.

Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Slight cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil markings to front free endpaper and title page. Bookseller sticker stuck to back pastedown. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Visible wear marks to boards.
