Sobre este artículo
Frome: Chicken House, 2009. First edition. Paperback. Fine. 8" by 5". Unnamed. An excellent scarcely found, signed and inscribed first edition of Gordon and Williams' children's adventure novel. This uniquely signed and inscribed first edition of acclaimed children's authors Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams' subterranean adventure novel 'Freefall', the third book in the 'Tunnels' series, features protagonist Will Burrows as he finds himself deeper within the earth than ever and facing off against the Rebecca Twins again. The inscription refers to Chester Rawls, one of the main characters, as well as a pen drawing of a skull. The 'Tunnels' series is extremely successful and upon initial publication by Chicken House was heralded as the next 'Harry Potter'. First edition. Signed by both authors to the title page, dated 23rd May 2009, with inscription by Gordon, and skull drawing, presumably by Williams, to the leaf following the title page. A thrilling work of underground adventure for younger readers, this copy of Gordon and Williams' 'Freefall' is made all the more interesting by the inscriptions of the authors. In the publisher's original paperback binding. Externally, very smart, with only very minor handling marks to the boards and very minor shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean, with small handling mark to the fore edge of the text block, not affecting the text. Fine
