The true story of Janusz Korczak, an educator, doctor, children's book author, and caretaker of an orphanage for Jewish children in Warsaw. During World War II, Korczak refused to leave the city, instead choosing to stay at the orphanage to protect the children, even when it meant his death.
Set in Poland.
Orange titled wrappers, dated January 29, 1968, with credits for screenwriter Ben Berzman. Title page present, noted as treatment, with credits for screenwriter Berzman. 131 leaves, with last leaf of text numbered 130. Spirit duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with a gold prong.
