With a 1963 tls from Allan Nevins to Robert Waitt, Secretary of the Richmond Civil War Centennial Committee. On Huntington Library letterhead, Nevins comments in the letter on revisions to his Fremont biography, and encourages Waitt to publish an article on Fremont in the Huntington's Quarterly Magazine. At the time of this letter, Nevins was Senior Research Assistant at the Huntington Library. A clean copy, with Mr. Waitt's blindstamp to the title page and his bookplate on the pastedown. Near Fine binding / no dust jacket.
