Blind decorated original publisher's cloth are lightly marked, upper half of spine-cover is missing, external joints are split at the top and base of the spine, cover corners are lightly bumped and scuffed. Paper is split over internal hinges but covers are well attached to text block. Pages are clea but with light foxing throughout and heavier foxing on early and last pages. Contains text and plates for these cathedrals: Amiens Cathedra (9 plates); Notre Dame, Paris (9 plates); Chartres (9 plates); Beaubais(8 plates); Evreux Cathedral (5 plates); Rouen (8 plates plus vignette title-page).
