Pages are heavily tanned and foxed throughout. Tears to bottom of pages 227-236 with text unaffected. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding weakened but secure. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering to spine is bright and clear. Major fraying to cloth at spine ends. Marked splits to joints and tears to cloth at spine ends. Clear sunning to boards.
