The Macmillan Co, 1921. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. SIGNED BY AUTHOR WITH A LETTER and other material. Original blue cloth, with gilt titles. Cloth is water damged along the bottom, and rubbed in places; inner hinges a bit loose, but intact. Signed and dated by Stefansson on the front free endpaper. Laid in loose is a full-page TLS on Dartmouth letterhead from Stefansson to Fifine Kent regarding Stefansson's relationship to Alaska, musk oxen, and other topics. Also laid in loose is Stefansson's Memorial Service booklet . 8vo. xxxi + 784pp., with index, and 113 b/w plates, 7 maps, plus two large color fold-out maps housed in the rear pocket (maps are unused, and Fine).
