Bound in publisher's quarter leather with paper over boards. Cover title with engraving on front board. Title in gilt on spine. Spine leather has a closed, 2 inch tear, ending at the title. Boards rubbed. Light browning throughout. 11 plates present, lacking 13 plates. A good copy of the scarce American edition, sadly lacking plates.
