Former owner's name on front fixed endpaper: "Frances Richards Vigors 1819." A humorous poem by Irish poet Thomas Moore (1779-1852) recounting an English family's experiences in Paris, first published in 1818. Former owner Frances Richards Vigors (1788-1877) married Casimir Pierre Adrien d'Herisson (1791-1846) in 1829. In Very Good Condition: edges rubbed; loss of paper at ends of spine; partial loss of spine label; occasional light foxing; otherwise, clean and tight.
